This tea is one of my all-time favorites, it has such a unique flavor and is wildly popular in Ayurvedic medicine for its fabulous fat burner effect.
This blend, in particular, works incredibly well for weight loss. It consists of coriander, cumin, and fennel seeds which all target your digestive track by soothing inflammation, enhancing digestion and detoxification. These seeds contain linoleic, palmitic and oleic acid which all work in harmony to clean out fat-soluble toxins. These are toxins that get stored in your cells and fatty tissues, the kind that show up as excess weight and even cottage cheese on the back of our thighs and buttocks. Whether you’re spending hours at the gym each week sweating your butt off or have no fitness regime whatsoever, this tea blend will support your body in keeping the weight off and staying toxin free.
When I first started sipping a liter of this tea on a daily base, it wasn’t until three weeks in that I really notice a difference. In combination with my usual 15-minute yoga routine and clean eating, I found that it really started to compliment my figure. Place 4 cups of water in a pot and add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds & 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds.
Bring to a boil and let simmer for 2-3 minutes
Pour through a strainer into a 1-liter thermos. The warmth of the tea plays a big role in cleaning out the fat-soluble toxins. For best results sip on the warm tea all day. Repeat at least 3 times a week or play hard and follow through daily.
